Japanese streetwear staple BAPE are reviving one of their most classic sneaker models in OG colorways. The BAPESTA is BAPE’s take on the Nike Air Force 1 sneaker. The early 2000’s saw the BAPESTA sneaker in its prime and could be seen worn by Soulja Boy, Kanye West and Pharrell. BAPE will be bringing the BAPESTA Low 2017 edition kicks back in limited quantities.
Sneaker heads in Japan seemingly went crazy for the signature BAPE shoes, sending the price of them to shoot up. The price of the sneakers range from $300 to $3000 from private sellers and are in limited quantities. Vibrant colours can be seen painted on the shoes, with the shooting star logo on the side of the shoe.
Fortunately, you can shop the new BAPESTA’s from ‘A Bathing Ape’ starting August 12 2017.
